I have never run a marathon and am not built for running.
I am in prison. If someone told me to run two back-to-back marathons and my freedom would be immediately granted nothing would stop me from completing both of these marathons. I would run, crawl, scratch, and bleed until I crossed the finish line despite not being capable of doing it.
This is your Inner Athlete. It is the fight inside of you when you think you have no fight left. It is courage when the world is calling you a coward. It is not divine, but awakens the supernatural to do the things you must do to find your place in the world.
The Inner Athlete can battle your demons, wink at fear, and take the risks you alone cannot. It can free
you from your prison.
