Team Experiences
A 2 - 2.5 hour guided fitness experiencing combining intense exercise, the outdoors, and togetherness for participants to discover their Inner Athlete and create meaningful bonds. It is an opportunity to take your team away from the noise and create an experience that lives into the season and beyond.
THE TRAIL: Selah Trails, home of The World's Greatest Fitness Trail, is a 3/4 mile challenging trail with 15 stations.
THE WORKOUT : The Inner Athlete workout will challenge any level of fitness. Along with 15 different challenges at each station, the 3/4 mile trail is hilly. There are three different levels (Advanced, Intermediate, Beginner) serving all levels of fitness. The workout incorporates personal and team competitiveness as well as team camaraderie (see Coach's Guide for more details of team workouts and added variations to the workout).
THE EXPERIENCE: The three main parts of the experience are:
1. Guided Orientation/Warm-Up Lap: We start on time and get after it right away. The team will be lead around the trail to do a quick 10 - 15 second demonstration at each station and keep it moving. This is a fast-paced, pay attention type of lap. Our Guides set the tone for the experience on this lap. (15 - 20 minutes)
2. Workout #1: Immediately after the orientation lap, each athlete will compete for the best trail time - one athlete, one trail, and one time. Your Guide will start 4 athletes at a time at station #1. The start the next 4....and so on. (40 - 50 minutes)
3. Workout #2: Create mini teams of 2, 3, or 4 (coaches decide) and each team must complete the trail as a team. This will require working together, encouraging one another as the team must cross finish line TOGETHER...and with their rock or wheel barrel (more details in Coach's Guide).
4. (Optional): Picnic: The property has a beautiful lookout spot called "Rocky's Hill". You are welcome to host a picnic for your team and share what each got out of the experience and just have some general fun.
